Philippart shares research-based ways to explore Luxembourg’s architectural and urban heritage, with particular attention to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In collaboration with the National Museum of History and Art and the Dräi Eechelen Museum, the site offers guided visits in Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette, along with conferences on the development of Luxembourg City. Its programme also includes historical films and an expanding bibliography covering architecture, biographies, cartography, social history and life, and European unity.

The organization supports researchers studying Luxembourg City’s urban development, and Dr Philippart contributes to expert groups and commissions concerned with urban and architectural development. He is also an associate expert with Luxembourg’s Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO and participates in museum activities that introduce audiences of different ages to the city’s history
