ROB HAMMER PHOTOGRAPHY

Based in Denver, Colorado, this commercial photographer documents the people, landscapes, and traditions of the American West. His long-term project, Calves to the Fire, draws on more than six years spent with working cowboys and ranch communities across the West. Made in documentary settings, the photographs look beyond Western mythology to portray contemporary ranch life and the people who sustain its traditions, including rawhide braiders, bootmakers, saddlemakers, and artists.

The work has been exhibited and published nationally, featured in private and commercial collections, used on the sets of Yellowstone and Dutton Ranch, and licensed by Western brands such as Wrangler, Boot Barn, and American Hat Company. Selected images are available as signed, limited-edition fine art prints, with additional photographs available by inquiry.
