Robin Layton

Robin Layton is an internationally recognized photographer and visual artist whose work captures the emotion, energy, and humanity within everyday moments. After a 25-year career in photojournalism, including award-winning newspaper work and a Pulitzer Prize-nominated photo story, she built a freelance practice spanning assignments around the world. Her career includes memorable portraits and images, and she has been a Nikon Ambassador since 2013.

Layton offers fine art photography, one-of-a-kind works, portraits, books, and custom commissions for collectors, private clients, designers, and organizations worldwide. Her practice also includes video art, multimedia installations, custom wall coverings, handwoven textiles, and mixed-media pieces combining photographs with vintage found objects. She collaborates with clients to create artwork tailored to a space, vision, or story, with work installed in private residences and commercial and hospitality environments.

Her forthcoming book, bare, features 150 photographs celebrating the male body, diverse identities, self-acceptance, and human connection. First-edition copies are signed and numbered, with a limited deluxe edition that includes a print, authenticity certificate, and handmade case.
