Robin is a Uniswap v4 hook protocol designed to detect and capture value from sandwich and just-in-time (JIT) attacks during swaps. By placing custom logic directly inside the trade, Robin can identify qualifying attacks, charge the attacker as they exit, and distribute captured value to liquidity providers, Robin’s on-chain hoards, and the protocol’s liquidity. The project presents this mechanism as a way to counter value extracted from traders and return it to the trading ecosystem.

Qualifying swaps also mint a unique 32-by-32 pixel Robin, a fully on-chain collectible rendered as raw SVG without IPFS or a server. Each image is generated from a hash of trade details, including tick, size, block, and trader, so every Robin has distinct visual features. The brand combines automated MEV capture with trade-based digital collectibles, bringing detection, fees, and minting together within the swap itself.
