The Robotics Society in Finland (Suomen Robotiikkayhdistys ry) is an open association that aims to support and connect individuals interested in (industrial) robotics. Established in 1983, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting users, technology providers, and educators in the field of industrial robotics. Our mission is achieved through various educational events and activities, including group trips to prominent robotics fairs and events in Europe, and participation in national and European research projects.

We also collaborate with organizations like Innokas, FLL Suomi, and Roboedu to promote robotics education for kids and school children. One notable collaboration is the robot TV gameshow for kids, Robomestarit. With 300+ personal members and around 60 supporting members, our society is an active member of euRobotics, GRC, and a founding member of IARA.

Our key responsibilities include arranging training and excursions, collecting Finnish robot statistics, publishing books and materials, engaging in international cooperation, participating in relevant EU projects, and providing studies to government bodies.
