Rocha’s Dory Charter is a family-owned fishing charter business based in Pacific City, Oregon, and operated by owner and captain Joey Rocha. Formerly known as Eagle Charters, the business was renamed to better reflect Joey and his family. Fishing has been part of Joey’s life since childhood, when he went out on dory boats with his father and friends. After high school, he spent about a year working aboard a 133-foot fishing vessel in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. He later returned home and became a captain for Eagle Charters, eventually purchasing the company and developing it into Rocha’s Dory Charter.
