Rocket MTB Suspension Newcastle

Rocket Suspension is a mountain bike suspension workshop based in Merewether, Newcastle, Australia. Founded by Jonny, a New Zealand-born local with decades of mechanical experience and a strong interest in mountain biking, the business combines specialist knowledge with state-of-the-art workshop tooling to provide suspension servicing and setup.

Services include full suspension servicing for most FOX, RockShox, DVO and Cane Creek forks and shocks, with components stripped, cleaned and inspected before rebuilding with genuine manufacturer seals and oils. Where possible, dampers are vacuum bled, nitrogen charged and function-tested. Basic fork lower-leg and rear-shock air-can services are also available, as are basic servicing and full rebuilds for FOX Transfer and RockShox Reverb dropper posts. Riders can book suspension setup to adjust spring rates, air volume and dampers, with a suspension guidance session included. The workshop also quotes on damper upgrades, travel changes and tuning. Prices may exclude required parts, and work is covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty. Rocket Suspension emphasizes clear communication, practical advice and personalized service.
