Rockingham Masters Swimming Club, known as the Rockingham Rays, is an adult swimming club centred on fitness, friendship and fun. Based at Aqua Jetty in Warnbro, it welcomes swimmers over 18 of varied abilities, from beginners to elite competitors. Members must be able to swim at least 50 metres without stopping or struggling, as the club is not a learn-to-swim school.
Training is held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in indoor and outdoor pools, with sessions supporting fitness and skill development. Swimmers can take part in pool and open-water activities, including optional inter-club competitions and open-water events at various distances, or simply enjoy swimming and socialising. The club’s coaches and program leaders help guide training, and newcomers are welcome to try a session before joining.
Rockingham Masters is affiliated with Masters Swimming WA and Masters Swimming Australia, connecting members with events and clubs across Australia and internationally. Its community includes accomplished marathon, Olympic and solo Rottnest Channel swimmers, alongside members who swim for personal enjoyment and recreation
