Rockland Works

Rockland Works is Rockland County’s one-stop employment and training resource, serving job seekers and local employers. The organization helps individuals explore career options, build skills, and connect with work, while helping businesses find and develop qualified employees. Its services begin with personalized intake and assessment, followed by career counseling and an Individual Employment Plan tailored to each person’s goals. Job seekers can receive resume development, job-search and application support, job matching, workshops, case management, and access to a Resource Room equipped with computers and office tools. Rockland Works also offers career training funding and digital literacy and certification workshops.

For employers, the Business Services Team supports recruitment through connections to pre-screened candidates, streamlined hiring assistance, and customized workforce solutions. Businesses can also access professional development opportunities, workshops, and dedicated case management. Rockland Works shares local job openings, hosts career events and orientations, and provides resources for people with disabilities. Its Virtual Career Center, newsletter, and Pathways and Possibilities podcast offer additional ways to explore employment information and services.
