Rocnatation-Royanfr

Royan Océan Club Natation (ROC Natation) is a French nonprofit swimming association based in Royan, where it operates at the municipal swimming pool. Affiliated with the French Swimming Federation, the club welcomes swimmers from age six and serves more than 200 members with three coaches. Its goal is to combine high-quality swimming instruction with personal development through sport, offering a place for beginners, experienced swimmers, children, adults, and competitors.

The club’s programs cover a range of needs and ambitions. Its Tiny Shark groups introduce children to club swimming and help them develop their technique across all four strokes. Other groups support swimmers who want to improve, explore competitive training, take part in interclub championships, or prepare for possible lifeguard certification. For young athletes, the club also offers a sports pathway connected with adapted school schedules and the swimming sports section at Collège Henri Dunant. A separate section provides intensive swimming practice three times a week, while the club’s training activities help prepare officials needed for competitions.
