The Taiwan Rodent Association, established in 2016, is dedicated to the welfare and advocacy of small mammals, particularly rodents. This not-for-profit organization actively engages in animal rescue and placement efforts, ensuring that these often-overlooked creatures receive the care and respect they deserve. The association offers a range of services, including a structured adoption process for various rodent species such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, and gerbils.

In addition to fostering adoption, the organization provides comprehensive care guides and resources to help new pet owners understand the needs of their animals. They also promote campaigns focused on animal protection and welfare legislation, addressing issues related to animal exploitation in experimentation and entertainment. With a mission to educate the public and advocate for better treatment of rodents, the Taiwan Rodent Association emphasizes the importance of humane treatment for all living beings. Through their efforts, they aim to raise awareness and inspire compassion for these small, yet significant animals.
