Roger Oates Design is a brand that has been designing and hand producing their exquisite Venetian Flatweave rugs and runners for over twenty years. With a focus on authenticity and craftsmanship, they use only the finest materials and maintain a traditional approach to production. Their runners are woven on specially adapted Hattersley looms using a British wool blend, spun and dyed in Yorkshire.
Every stage of production is done by a skilled team of craftspeople, ensuring the highest quality. Inspired by an historic flatwoven fragment discovered in the late 1980s, Roger Oates and Fay Morgan began their journey to develop Venetian Flatweave into the highly distinctive decorative floorcovering it is today. Their designs are a perfect blend of heritage and innovation, creating timeless pieces for the homes of the 21st century.
