Rokote Laboratories Finland Oy is a leading Finnish vaccine development company. Established in 2020, we have been relentlessly working on the development of our first vaccine. With our premises located in Kuopio and Helsinki, our operations are founded on research cooperation utilizing the expertise of the University of Helsinki and the University of Eastern Finland.

In 2021, we secured EUR 9 million in funding from esteemed organizations, including Ferring Ventures SA and Jenny and Antti Wihuri Fund, among others. This investment will aid in furthering the development, manufacturing, and implementation of our groundbreaking FINCoVac coronavirus vaccine. It will also support the crucial first and second phases of clinical trials.

Our FINCoVac vaccine is designed to stimulate immune responses by programming nasopharyngeal cells to produce the SARS-CoV-2 viral spike protein. Administered through the nasal mucosa, our vaccine generates wide-ranging immune responses, including IgA antibodies to protect the mucous membranes. Moreover, this method may enable us to swiftly adapt our vaccine to combat future virus variants and even develop vaccines for other viruses.
