ROLDA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humane solutions to the widespread problem of homeless dogs in Romania. Our mission is to give hope to neglected and abused animals, as well as to the people who care about them. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, while also providing aid to poor communities and other rescuers in Romania and Ukraine.

ROLDA fights against animal abandonment, cruelty, and neglect, and works to reduce the stray population through sterilization campaigns. We are also actively involved in stopping illegal shelters and wildlife trafficking, and we aim to end wildlife tourism exploitation. Our history showcases our dedication to creating change for animals in Romania, and our current programs include preventive care, education, and rescue work.

We rely on the generosity of our supporters to fund our vital work, and we run two dog shelters, a cat sanctuary, and help over 1000 animals each year. With your help, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.
