Rolldown

Rolldown is a free, open-source JavaScript bundler built in Rust and designed to combine high performance with a familiar development experience. It offers a Rollup-compatible API, allowing developers to work with familiar options and draw on a rich plugin ecosystem, while providing feature parity with esbuild for capabilities such as built-in transforms, define, inject, and minification. Rolldown is designed for Vite and serves as the unified bundler powering Vite 8 and later.

Its published benchmark compares bundling 19,000 modules, including React JSX components and Iconify JavaScript files, with minification and source maps.
