RollerDerbyNederland

Roller Derby Nederland is the national association representing roller derby leagues in the Netherlands. Promoting the sport since 2017, it advocates for recognition of roller derby as a professional discipline and supports members in competing nationally and internationally. The association brings together athletes, coaches, officials, and fans, with a focus on sporting excellence, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.

Its work includes keeping member leagues informed about developments in the international roller derby community, providing guidance and support, and recognizing occasional national championship tournaments hosted by one or more leagues. Members can contribute through committees that develop resources for leagues. Roller Derby Nederland also participates in the NOC*NSF diversity and inclusion committee and has committed to its diversity and inclusion charter.

Eligible leagues using Women’s Flat Track Derby Association rules or similar formats, including short track and junior roller derby, can apply for membership. The association supports the national teams, Team Nederland and Team Nederland Mannen, which represent the country at tournaments and compete internationally.
