Rolleston Rugby

Rolleston Rugby Football Club (Rolleston RFC) is a community-focused rugby club based in Rolleston, in New Zealand’s Selwyn District. Competing within the Ellesmere Rugby Sub-Union, the club has grown alongside the local community and provides a pathway from first-time participation to senior rugby. Its teams cater to children, teenagers, colts, senior men, and women and girls, with offerings including non-contact Rippa Rugby for ages five to seven, junior tackle grades, intermediate rugby, and senior competition. The club aims to foster belonging, player development, respect, positivity, and community pride, supporting participants on and off the field.

Based at its purpose-built facilities on Dynes Road, Rolleston RFC brings together players, families, supporters, coaches, and volunteers. Beyond rugby, its clubrooms are available for functions, birthdays, business meetings, and parties, with a licensed bar, sound system, television screen, seating, and a covered outdoor area. The club also offers registration for the season and club merchandise, and welcomes community involvement through participation, volunteering, coaching, and sponsorship.
