The Roman Society is the premier organization in the United Kingdom dedicated to the study of Rome and the Roman Empire. Established in 1910, it serves as the sister society to the Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies. With a broad membership that spans over forty countries and encompasses individuals from all walks of life, the Roman Society offers a wide range of resources and support to those interested in Roman history, archaeology, literature, and art up until approximately 700 A.
