About Romaversitas
Romaversitas Alapítvány is a brand that was established in 1996 by a dedicated group of intellectuals, both Roma and non-Roma, with the aim of supporting Roma youth in higher education. As a community organization, they believe in investing in the education of Roma youth for long-term, sustainable and widespread social change. Their mission is to empower Roma youth by strengthening their skills, solidifying their positive Roma identity, supporting their university studies, and launching their careers.
Over the years, Romaversitas has supported numerous Roma students through their programs, including the Irány az egyetem! program (Towards University! program) and the Irány a karrier! program (Towards Career! program). They also have initiatives such as the Roma Historical Month and a networking program for Ukrainian refugee children. By supporting Romaversitas, you can make a difference in the education of Roma youth and become an ally of the future Roma intelligentsia
