Ron Artesano | Jayuya Abajo is a premium craft rum brand that is handmade in Puerto Rico. This brand is the result of the hard work and dedication of three individuals who came together to create exceptional rums in the mountains of Jayuya. The name ARTESANO encapsulates the craftsmanship, passion, and attention to detail that goes into every bottle of their incredible liquid.
Initially facing challenges securing funding from investors, the team decided to embark on a Crowdfunding campaign, making it the first ever equity crowdfunding campaign in Puerto Rico. Their efforts paid off as they raised $215,000 from over 370 micro-investors who wanted to own a small piece of their success. Looking ahead, Ron Artesano plans to expand its production in 2023.
They are focused on dominating the Puerto Rico market and venturing into new markets in the USA, Central America, and Europe. Leading the way for this innovative brand is Javier Herrera, a rum maestro and a renowned expert in the international rum industry.
