Rondevanalblasserdam

The Ronde van Alblasserdam is an annual cycling event that brings competitive racing and a lively community atmosphere to the Dutch town of Alblasserdam. First held in 1959, the race has a long history and an impressive list of winners, including Tour de France champion and world champion Jan Janssen, sprinter Dylan Groenewegen, and record-holder Rob Disseldorp. The women’s honours list also features distinguished champions, among them Keetie Hage and Leontien van Moorsel.

The event welcomes different racing categories and is presented as a celebration for participants and spectators of all ages. The organisation shares practical information, including the course and event updates, and publishes news about upcoming editions. Its website also brings together race photography and media coverage, allowing visitors to revisit highlights from previous years. Sponsorship and contact information are available for those wishing to connect with the organisers. The 66th Paardenmarktronde is scheduled for Wednesday, 28 July 2027, continuing a local sporting tradition built around cycling, competition, and community spirit.
