Rond on Ice

Rond on Ice brings a seasonal ice-skating experience to Het Rond in the centre of Houten, Netherlands. Running from 9 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, the event offers 26 days of winter activities on a 25-by-12.5-metre ice rink. Visitors can enjoy general skating, school skating sessions, curling and disco skating, making the rink a place for both casual outings and organised activities.

The event also features the Huiskamer van Houten, a welcoming space where guests can warm up and enjoy a drink. For the 2026–2027 season, skating admission costs €5, with a transferable five-visit pass available for €20. Skate rental is €3.50, while a skating aid can be hired for €2.50 per half hour. Gloves and drink tokens are also available for purchase.

Rond on Ice invites people to volunteer and provides information about opening hours, events, accessibility, safety rules and curling registration. The organisation also welcomes sponsors and offers its venue for celebrations and other occasions.
