RoninDojo is an open-source, self-hosted Bitcoin node designed to help people protect their privacy and manage their self-custody bitcoin. It combines a full Bitcoin node with privacy, wallet, transaction, and system-management tools in a plug-and-play experience. Users can run the software on supported hardware, including Rock5b+, Raspberry Pi 5, and x86 systems, and manage it through RoninUI or a command-line interface.
RoninDojo includes Bitcoin Core, Electrs and Fulcrum indexers, and a Mempool.space Bitcoin explorer. Tor is built in to anonymize connections, while Soroban broadcasts transactions through randomly selected decoy nodes. Auth47 offers identity-based authentication using BIP47 wallet identities. Additional tools support transaction inspection, rescanning and analysis, fee estimation, troubleshooting, updates, and SSH key management.
Users can pair compatible privacy-focused wallets directly with their own node, reducing reliance on third parties for access to wallet balances and addresses. RoninDojo is free and open source, with documentation, downloads, support resources, and community contribution options. Lightning Network support is not currently available, and the organization says new hardware is not yet for sale.
