Ronin Team Submission

Ronin Team Submission Grappling offers martial arts training in Santa Rosa, California, welcoming students to develop their skills, fitness, and confidence through grappling. The academy’s programs combine Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and other grappling disciplines, teaching techniques such as joint locks, chokeholds, and body positioning against resisting partners. Training is led by head instructor Sophorn Ouk, who has nearly two decades of combat-sport and competition experience and began his Jiu-Jitsu and grappling career in 2006. The team is affiliated with Elite Team Jiu-Jitsu.

Students can choose NoGi Submission Grappling, the academy’s main focus, with classes Monday through Friday, or Gi Jiu-Jitsu on Saturdays. Both programs include instruction and live training, and are open to students aged 13 and older at all skill levels. Monthly memberships cost $156 for adults and $146 for ages 13–17, with no long-term contract; visitors can attend for a $30 drop-in fee. Members may train as often as they like and wear any approved Gi or NoGi attire. The academy is located at 1331 Guerneville Road, Suite O.
