RoNMKY

Rovaniemen NMKY Ry, also known as Rovaniemi Basket, is a basketball club based in Rovaniemi and the city’s only club specializing in both junior and adult basketball. It welcomes players into a northern basketball community, with teams and practice groups for children, young people and adults. The club provides information about training schedules, team contacts, membership and season fees, and players can join throughout the season.

Newcomers can explore the sport through introductory activities, including basketball schools, seasonal camps and summer clubs. The club also offers a two-week trial period in its teams, helping prospective players try basketball before committing. Its activities include organized practices and competitive games, with teams participating in regional and national divisions.

Rovaniemen NMKY promotes basketball as an energetic indoor sport that develops interaction and teamwork through shared play. For first practices, participants need indoor shoes, suitable sports clothing and a water bottle; loaner balls are available. The club also provides sponsorship opportunities to support its children’s, youth and competitive teams
