RoofVista is a roofing-planning and contractor-comparison service designed to help homeowners make clearer, more confident decisions about roof replacement. Using an address and available remote roof data, it provides a planning estimate before homeowners request written quotes. The estimate is an early guide; contractors verify the final scope onsite, and availability varies by location.

When qualified local contractors are available, homeowners can compare proposals side by side, including materials, work scope, allowances, exclusions, warranties, and total price. RoofVista says participating contractors must meet a 4.5-plus Google rating requirement at recruitment, while license status and proof of insurance are reviewed. Homeowners control whether and when to share their contact information, and can review credentials, references, and written terms before hiring.

The service also offers roofing information on costs, materials, climate considerations, and permits, along with checklists and advisor support to help assess bids. Contractors may quote options such as architectural shingles, standing-seam metal, cedar shake, or natural slate.
