About RoomRunner
RoomRunner is a hospitality technology company that automates hotel room service and minibar delivery through a back-of-house Micro Distribution System and delivery robots. Guests scan a QR code in their room, browse a menu on their own phones, and place orders without downloading an app. The system prepares and stages items, dispatches a robot, and notifies guests when their order arrives; guests confirm in the app to unlock the robot.
RoomRunner offers hotels an automated, 24/7 way to sell snacks, beverages, prepared and hot food, sundries, and everyday retail items. Its service includes hardware, software, inventory, installation, menu and payment setup, staff accounts, and ongoing support. An operations dashboard provides live order and inventory visibility, sales reports, and account management.
The standard model has no upfront cost to the hotel, which provides back-of-house space and earns a share of guest order revenue. RoomRunner is currently designed for properties with 300 or more rooms, with arrangements that may be tailored to a hotel’s needs.
