Brandon J. Brown is the owner and photographer behind Roost Photography. A sudden realization that many of his friends' wedding photos were lackluster led him to change careers and establish Roost Photography.

With a passion for capturing love, laughter, and the moments that matter, Brandon ensures that every couple receives fantastic photos and a photographer who is genuinely excited to tell their unique story. The photography style of Roost is a blend of artistic composition, natural posing, documentary instincts, movement, and FUN! Brandon takes pride in being present as couples celebrate their engagement and wedding, providing a front-row seat to capture those unforgettable moments. Behind the scenes, Roost Photography is a family of five humans and one dog.

Brandon, a wedding photographer, is married to an L&D nurse, and together they are raising three children and one furry friend. They reside in the vibrant community of East Tosa and are slowly renovating a big old duplex into their dream home. When Brandon is not behind the camera, he can be found renovating the house, immersing himself in vintage vinyl, indulging in fantasy books, running or hiking in the mountains, and savoring tasty beers and bourbons.

Brandon's passion for photography began in his childhood, using his father's Minolta 35mm and later receiving a vintage Polaroid camera as a middle school gift from his parents. Nowadays, with more advanced and durable equipment, his love for capturing light and freezing special moments continues to grow.
