Rooted in Love Counselling is an online counselling practice led by Dr. Simone Michelle Poppleton, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Registered Counsellor. Based in Fourways, the practice supports individuals, couples and families experiencing conflict, crisis, relationship challenges and life transitions. Its approach is trauma-informed and centred on creating a safe, supportive space for open conversation, deeper listening and connection.
Drawing on Emotion-Focused Therapy, neuroscience, relational presence and systemic approaches, Dr. Poppleton adapts sessions to each person’s or couple’s needs and circumstances. Counselling is intended to help clients understand patterns, gain fresh perspectives and develop practical tools, with change in therapy supporting stronger relationships beyond the sessions. Services are delivered online worldwide through Zoom or Google Meet, with appointments arranged by email. The practice offers counselling for relationship and marriage concerns, as well as support for individuals and families. Weekday appointments are available from 9:00 to 19:00 GMT; the practice is closed on weekends. Medical aid rates apply.
