RootLove Lactation Services is an inclusive infant-feeding and lactation consulting practice founded by Heather Elkins, JD, IBCLC, in Northern Colorado. The practice provides evidence-based, personalized support that respects each family’s circumstances and feeding goals. Consultations are available in clients’ homes, at a Boulder office, or virtually by phone or video, serving Boulder, Louisville, Longmont, Lafayette, Erie, Westminster, Broomfield, North Denver Metro, and families farther away online.

RootLove offers prenatal breastfeeding preparation, help with latch and positioning, and care for breast or nipple pain, milk-supply concerns, oversupply, and overactive letdown. Its services also include pumping and exclusive-pumping guidance, formula supplementation planning, support for slow infant weight gain, and assistance after tongue-tie release. Families can seek help with reflux, induced lactation, relactation, chestfeeding, returning to work, starting solids, and adjustment to new parenthood. The practice works alongside clients’ healthcare teams and tailors care without imposing expectations. RootLove partners with many major insurance plans, and consultations may be covered with little or no out-of-pocket cost.
