Roots Performance

Roots Performance is a sports coaching and performance service for beginners, ambitious recreational athletes, and professionals in triathlon, cycling, and running. Its team of coaches, performance diagnosticians, and physicians takes a personalised, evidence-based approach, combining athletic development with health and practical guidance. The company offers individual coaching and training plans designed around each athlete’s goals, schedule, and starting point, with direct communication between clients and coaches.

Performance assessments include spirometry, lactate testing, training-zone definition, and measurement of anaerobic threshold, VO2max, and FatMax. Roots Performance also provides sports medical check-ups, which may be subsidised by health insurance, and data-driven bike fitting using GebioMized pressure-point measurement to assess pedalling, identify asymmetries, and support improved power transfer and aerodynamics. Through a partnership with Vigeo Sports, it organises training camps featuring small groups, individual coaching, swim technique analysis, and nutrition guidance. Roots Performance works with the Ortholetics practice and offers a free introductory consultation to discuss athletes’ needs, challenges, and objectives.
