Rootstock Selections is a Taiwan-based wine importer, distributor, and retailer that specializes in working with passionate and artisanal producers. Established at the end of 2018, our headquarters are located in Taipei, Taiwan. Our founder, Benjamin, was born and raised in Singapore but was inspired by the vibrant food and beverage culture in New York, USA. He aims to recreate those experiences and foster similar conversations through wine and hospitality in Taiwan.

The name Rootstock Selections is derived from the significant role that a vine's rootstock plays in its success. In the late 1800s, Phylloxera devastated many vineyards worldwide, leading to the grafting of American rootstocks onto French vines to save the crops. This symbolizes the importance of understanding origins, adapting in the wine world, and prioritizing our customers' needs to offer the best experience.
