About Rørosmuseet
Rørosmuseet is dedicated to preserving and developing the cultural and natural heritage of the Røros district. With a particular focus on the world heritage site, southern Sami history, mining history, architectural conservation, and information about Femundsmarka National Park, Rørosmuseet plays a vital role in safeguarding these invaluable assets. At Rørosmuseet, visitors can explore a range of exhibits and attractions, including Smelthytta, Olavsgruva, Doktortjønna, and Bygningsvernsenteret, among others.
