About Rosa Pomar
Retrosaria, which means haberdashery in Portuguese, is a brand that has been serving customers since January 2008. They started online and later opened a physical shop in the heart of Lisbon on Rua do Loreto in 2009. At Retrosaria, Rosa Pomar, the founder and owner, splits her time between teaching classes at the shop and conducting field research on Portuguese textiles.
This research has resulted in a range of yarns that the brand offers, some of which are handmade by skilled artisans using traditional tools and methods. In addition to yarns, Retrosaria provides various knitting and crochet materials such as needles, patterns, and accessories.
