The Rosedale Show is an annual community event organised by the Rosedale & District Agricultural, Horticultural and Industrial Society. Founded in 1871, the show takes place every August at Milburn Arms Field in Rosedale Abbey, within the North York Moors National Park. It offers a family day out celebrating agriculture, horticulture, local industry and rural life.
Visitors can see cattle, goats, heavy horses and ponies, alongside local produce, crafts and vintage tractors. The event also features attractions and refreshments, with free parking available. The show welcomes exhibitors, trade stands, judges, stewards, volunteers and visitors, and publishes results after the event.
In addition to organising the annual show, the society provides membership opportunities and shares news and event information through its website and social media. Its activities are supported by the landowners who make the showground fields available, as well as sponsors and community contributors. The 2026 show is scheduled for Saturday, 15 August, opening at 9.
