Variety – the Children’s Charity of Iowa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children in Iowa who are at-risk, underprivileged, critically ill, or living with special needs. Its work includes a mobility program that provides equipment to children, helping them participate more fully in daily life. Scheduled for July 18, 2026, at Talons of Tuscany in Ankeny, Roses & Rye is a garden party–inspired evening with Kentucky Derby-style attire, fundraising, and opportunities to connect with the cause. Guests can also visit a private car collection at the venue and meet past recipients of mobility equipment during a Parade of Champions. Tickets are available individually or in tables of six or ten, with proceeds supporting Variety’s mission.
