Roskilde vandski

Roskilde Vandski is a volunteer-run waterskiing club based in Roskilde, Denmark, bringing together people who share a passion for the sport. The club’s team includes waterski competitors, a judge and homologator, experienced club leaders, coaches, parents of young athletes, and technical specialists. Together, they offer knowledge and support for participants across children’s, youth, and adult levels, with a welcoming approach for newcomers.

The website introduces slalom waterskiing, a discipline that involves skiing behind a boat through a course marked by six buoys. It also points visitors toward introductory guidance and information about the club’s team and the sport. Roskilde Vandski has spent six years pursuing plans for a new waterski club in Roskilde Municipality’s Idrætssøen, but the municipality has closed the project, citing environmental and safety concerns. The club has expressed disappointment with both the decision and the lengthy process. Its site also directs visitors to Danish waterski and wakeboard organizations and the club’s social media channels.
