Rotaract is a voluntary movement founded worldwide for young professionals aged between 18 to 35 years. The Rotaract movement encompasses all facets of life with 4 main avenues of service: Community Service, Professional Development, International Service and Club Service. Together, these three areas ensure a balanced club program and provide important experience and opportunities for the personal development of each Rotaractor. Through Rotaract, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills that will assist them with personal development, but also address the physical and social needs of their communities while also promoting international understanding and peace.

About Rotaract Club of Colombo
The Rotaract Club of Colombo, established in 1969, is the oldest and first Rotaract Club in Sri Lanka and the third in South Asia. We are a registered non-profit social service organization under Rotary International and fall under the guardianship of the Rotary Club of Colombo. Our mission is to develop effective leaders and promote responsible citizenship, fostering international understanding and peace.
As a group of young professionals, we are committed to personal, professional, and community development. Our diverse range of services includes community service, club service, international service, professional development, and environment service. We focus on improving the quality of life among vulnerable groups, strengthening fellowship among members, strengthening international relationships, widening knowledge, and implementing green-friendly initiatives.
We are proud of our signature projects, such as The Charity Bus, Escape to Paradise, Christmas with a Difference, and the RCC Annual Party. At RCC, we ensure a balanced club program and provide important opportunities for personal development.
