Aquarien- und Terrarienverein “Roter Neon” e.V. Memmingen is a local club for people interested in aquariums, terrariums and the care of aquatic life. Based in Memmingen, the association welcomes visitors to its clubhouse and grounds in the Pfaffenwinkel area, with access and parking from Birkenweg.
The club shares practical knowledge to help aquarium and terrarium enthusiasts make informed choices. Its members offer free advice on aquarium technology, fish selection, stocking, water quality and related topics, with particular attention to avoiding common mistakes that can affect the wellbeing of aquarium inhabitants.
Several times a year, Roter Neon hosts fish and aquatic plant fairs at its clubhouse. Visitors can find water plants and a range of fish species suitable for freshwater aquariums, and can ask knowledgeable club members for guidance. Entry to the fairs is free, and attendance is informal. The association also publishes an information leaflet about the club and provides details of meetings and events, including its annual general meeting.
