The Rotterdamse Dakendagen (Rotterdam Rooftop Days) are a festive exploration of the rooftops of Rotterdam. Rotterdamse Dakendagen aims to show how rooftops could contribute to healthy, lively, inclusive, sustainable, attractive and resilient cities. We do this by organising our annual festival the Rotterdam Rooftop Days, where thousands of residents and visitors of the city are welcomed to explore its currently underutilised rooftops, collectively known as the roofscape.

About Rotterdamse Dakendagen
Rotterdamse Dakendagen offers a unique perspective on the city by showcasing the untapped potential of rooftop spaces. From the rooftops, you can experience Rotterdam in a whole new way. Coming back in the spring of 2024, Rotterdamse Dakendagen invites you to explore and enjoy the city from above.
In July and August of 2023, you can attend summer concerts on the roof of the Heuvel. Additionally, Bovenop Zuid, a one-kilometer art route on the roof of the Zuidplein shopping center, offered a vibrant display of art inspired by stories from Rotterdam-Zuid. During the Rotterdamse Dakendagen 2023 in the first weekend of June, you had the opportunity to explore various rooftops and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the festival.
They also organized the Rethinking Rooftops knowledge program, which featured keynote speakers discussing innovative ideas for rooftops. Don't miss out on the captivating tower music events on the roof of De Heuvel, where the Laurenskerk carillon meets international musicians.
