Route169

Route169 is a volunteer-led community festival in Stützengrün, Germany, created by local residents for their community and visitors. First held in 2018, the event brings together all three districts for a weekend of activities, culture, sport, and live music. Its guiding principle is “a festival with heart, not commerce”: proceeds and donations support participating local clubs and two seriously ill children from the region. Organized with the municipality and local associations, Route169 is designed for people of all ages and encourages residents to celebrate their community together.

The planned three-day program includes family entertainment, sports tournaments, children’s performances, a soapbox race, live bands and DJ sets, a church service, and a market for second-hand finds and handmade goods. Visitors can also explore activities such as face painting, balloon modeling, historical vehicle displays, and club showcases. The festival takes place at the Gewerbegebiet Stützengrün, near the B169. The website lists the 2025 program for September 5–7, while marking its scheduled events as canceled.
