Route 9 Community Development Corporation (Route 9 CDC) is a community-focused organization working to address social determinants of health and build resilience in the Route 9 community in New Castle, Delaware. It connects residents with information, practical support, and opportunities to participate in neighborhood improvement. Its certified Community Health Workers provide services intended to help address factors that affect health and well-being.

The organization offers education and information services through door-to-door canvassing, a community newsletter, and outreach at local events. Its Alternative to Out of School Suspension program gives middle school students a safe, supervised setting, homework help, and restorative practices after suspension. CHECK OUT supports students and families facing inequities in the school system by providing non-lawyer advocates to help navigate challenges, identify systemic concerns, and connect with additional resources.
