Rouwbegeleiding De Stroming

Praktijk de Stroming is a grief and loss counseling practice in Leiden, led by Angelique, a grief counselor who offers warm, calm, and nonjudgmental support. The practice is for young adults and adults who feel unseen in their grief, are struggling to move forward, or are unsure what to do next. It recognizes that loss can arise from one major event or from a series of changes, and that grief may involve sadness, guilt, confusion, anger, shame, restlessness, or physical discomfort.

Rather than treating grief as a problem to solve, Angelique provides space for people to share their individual stories and make sense of what they are feeling. Support includes attentive listening, help finding words for difficult emotions, and explanations of how grief can work. The aim is to help clients find greater calm and a sense of footing as they learn to live with what has changed. Inspired by the movement of water, De Stroming views grief as an ongoing process in which memories, love, and feelings continue to flow.
