Rovaniemen Roadrunners is a distance-running club based in Rovaniemi, with members from across northern Finland. Inspired by the endurance-running enthusiasm of the 1970s, local runners established the club to support the sport, and it has organized running events since 1975. The club is particularly known for its Talvisarjajuoksu, or Winter Series Run, a long-running series of races held in Koskenkylä.
It also organizes road and track races, with a focus on road events, and collaborates with other clubs on some indoor and track competitions. Alongside its events, Rovaniemen Roadrunners offers opportunities to join group runs and access indoor training during the winter season. Its activities include occasions such as the Long Run Evening at Santasport Lapland Sports Institute, where participants run laps on an indoor track.
The club shares event schedules, results, news, and membership information, and welcomes people interested in running and taking part in its community activities
