Rowen Hollow creates bespoke coffee table books that tell a pet’s life story from the pet’s own point of view. Drawing on details supplied by the people who know them best, each custom memoir captures a pet’s personality, habits, relationships, and place in the family. The books are written in the pet’s voice, reviewed before printing, and brought to life with custom illustrations; they are not photo albums, though a chosen portrait appears on the About the Author page.

Customers can choose a custom paperback for $50 or a custom hardback for $79, then select the cover’s colors and title and answer six short questions by speaking or typing. Books are made to order, printed and bound, and typically arrive about two weeks after the pet’s details are submitted. Rowen Hollow also offers gift cards for recipients to redeem at their own pace, as well as the option to create a book for someone else.
