ROW

Stichting ROW/HHT Nederland is a Dutch foundation supporting people affected by ROW/HHT, their families, healthcare professionals and researchers. ROW, also known as HHT, is an inherited condition involving abnormal blood vessel development. It can cause fragile vessels and connections that bleed or lead to complications; nosebleeds may begin early, while other symptoms can appear later. Because the condition is rare, diagnosis can take time, making awareness and early recognition important.

The foundation provides accessible information, encourages contact among people with shared experiences, and advocates for faster recognition and better care. It works with doctors, researchers and people with lived experience to share knowledge and support initiatives that can improve understanding and patient care. Its activities include webinars, informational events and peer-support days, where participants can learn, meet others and talk with medical experts. The foundation also shares news and event updates and invites people to subscribe to its newsletter. Donations and volunteer support help it build a network in which people affected by ROW/HHT can feel heard and supported.
