Roxy Davis

Dr. Roxy Davis is the professional and public platform of a South African surfing champion, entrepreneur, researcher and social-impact advocate. A nine-time national surfing champion, Davis brings together her experience in sport, business and community work to promote wellness, inclusion and personal development through the ocean.

She founded Surf Emporium, which offers surf coaching courses, and the Roxy Davis Foundation, a nonprofit established in 2019. The foundation runs free surf therapy clinics for people with physical, cognitive, intellectual or sensory disabilities, using ocean-based activities to support mental and physical well-being. Davis’s health sciences research explores the effects of ocean-based therapy for children with disabilities in South Africa.

Her business interests also include Sally-Ann Creed, which she purchased in 2020 and which focuses on wellness through nutrition, and Ocean Freedom, a proudly South African, mineral-based sunscreen company she founded in 2021.
