About Royal Commonwealth Society
Established in 2015, the Commonwealth Youth Gender & Equality Network (CYGEN) is a dynamic youth-led organization focused on promoting the meaningful inclusion of youth voices in gender equality discussions at local, national, regional, Commonwealth, and international levels. Serving as the Secretariat of CYGEN, the Society collaborates with the Executive Committee and Membership to drive the growth and representation of the network in high-level advocacy platforms. CYGEN's mission is to empower young people by advocating for increased engagement in governance structures and processes.
By providing a platform for youth to address gender equality issues affecting their communities, CYGEN aims to influence policy development, conduct research, and offer technical advice to enhance youth participation. Join us in shaping a more inclusive future for all
