ROYAL FENCING

Royal Fencing Academy is a family-focused fencing club located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, serving fencers across Montgomery County. The club welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels, from youth to adults and seniors, and supports both competitive athletes and those who fence recreationally. Its three-weapon program offers instruction in the sport’s three fencing disciplines, with opportunities for members to develop their skills and take part in club or competition-focused training.

Beyond sport fencing, the academy offers historical small sword and rapier classes. Its program options include regular classes, classes for homeschooled students, and after-school programs. The academy also shares special offers, including Groupon deals, and provides a free introductory lesson for people interested in joining.

Royal Fencing Academy helps fencers explore competition opportunities with a tool that uses a fencer’s birth date, rating, and potential tournament date to identify eligible divisions. Members and prospective students can learn about the coaches, schedule, membership fees, events, and club policies through the academy’s website, or contact the club directly for more information.
