Royal Pooch Pet Services is a Calgary-based pet care business founded by Krista DeCarle, who began offering services in 2011. Serving communities across northwest Calgary, the business aims to give pet owners peace of mind by caring for their animals when they are away. Its services include home-style boarding, pet sitting, potty breaks, in-home aftercare, and pet first aid training.
Krista brings a lifelong interest in animal care to the business, with experience volunteering with feline and canine rescues and working in veterinary clinics and volunteer clinics. She is a certified Pet First Aid Instructor for Walks ’N’ Wags Pet First Aid and contributes articles about pet care and first aid to local and national publications. She also volunteers with children’s groups to teach the basics of responsible animal care.
Royal Pooch is licensed, bonded, and insured. The business offers meet-and-greet sessions, during which references are provided. Krista and her family welcome pets into their home as part of their family, reflecting the personal approach at the heart of the service.
